Jemma L Redmond (SW91844) has been struck off the HCPC Register following the first review of a suspension order originally imposed on 28 April 2016.
A panel of the HCPC Conduct and Competence Committee heard that Miss Redmond was originally suspended for a period of 12 months on the grounds of misconduct and incompetence whilst employed as a social worker at Cambridgeshire County Council.
The Panel further heard Miss Redmond’s failings included not undertaking / recording visits to Child C; not recording home visits or recording meetings with professionals in relation to Family D; and copying and pasting parts of a previous report and / or core assessment in relation to Child E.
Panel Chair Paul Grant commented:
“There is no evidence before the Panel today that could satisfy it that Miss Redmond’s fitness to practise is no longer impaired. She has not engaged with the HCPC, she did not make any submissions to the final hearing panel nor has she acted on the recommendations of the previous panel.”
The Panel directed to strike the name of Miss Jemma L Redmond from the Register upon the expiry of the current Order, 26 May 2017.
Miss Redmond was neither present nor represented at the hearing.
