A panel of the HCPTS heard that Mr Lees was convicted at Bristol Magistrates Court of assaulting Person A, thereby occasioning her actual bodily harm.

The Panel further heard that Mr Lees did not declare the conviction to the HCPC.

Panel Chair Polly Clarke commented:

“The Panel has decided that the appropriate order in this case is a striking off order. This is a conclusion reached not only by the decisions that all lesser sanctions are not sufficient, but also by the positive decision of the Panel that the totality of the findings made are incompatible with Mr Lees name remaining on the HCPC Register.”

The Panel ordered for the name of Stephen G Lees to be struck off the HCPC Register.

Mr Lees was neither present nor represented at the hearing.
