HCPTS - Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service - Joanne Forrester

A panel of the HCPTS heard that Mrs Forrester was responsible for a number of failings including not conducting statutory visits within statutory timescales and / or not recording statutory visits in a timely manner.

The Panel further heard Mrs Forrester did not facilitate a sibling placement for Service User U in required timescales, and failed to progress assessment discussion with wider family member of Family M.

Panel Chair Ian Comfort commented:

“All of the service users involved were vulnerable children in need who could be at risk of harm. The failure to visit them with the required frequency, or visiting them and not recording the visits, exposed them to the risk that harm would not be identified and addressed.”

The Panel ordered for the name of Joanne Forrester to be struck off the HCPC Register.

Mrs Forrester was neither present nor represented at the hearing.
