Stephanie P Howes (PH73902) has been struck off the HCPC Register following the first review of Suspension Order imposed on 2 December 2016 for period on 12 months.

HCPTS - Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service - Stephanie P Howes

A panel of the HCPTS heard that Ms Howes was originally suspended on grounds of her conviction at Worthing & Chichester Magistrates’ Court for offences involving fraud that she pleaded guilty to on 8 March 2016.

The Panel further heard that Ms Howes sentenced to 18 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and an unpaid work requirement of 150 hours to be completed within 12 months.

Panel Chair Peter Vines commented:

“The Panel has concluded that Ms Howes fitness to practise is still impaired in that there was a risk of repetition and therefore a restriction on her ability to practise is necessary in order to protect members of the public.”

The Panel determined that a Striking Off Order is the only sufficient and appropriate order to make in order to protect the public and sustain public confidence.

Ms Howes was not present nor represented at the hearing.
