Occupational Therapist, Kerri S Clark, Struck Off Following Substantive Review

Kerri S Clark (OT60299) has been struck off the HCPC Register following a review of a suspension order originally imposed on 29 June 2017.

HCPTS - Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service - Kerri S ClarkA panel of the HCPTS heard that Mrs Clark was originally suspended for a period of six months on the grounds of misconduct whilst employed at Hertfordshire County Council.

The Panel further heard that Mrs Clark’s failings included not maintaining adequate case files in relation to a number of cases, failing to arrange and / or record arranging a therapist to visit a service user, and failing to provide a service user’s family with recommendations in relation to equipment.

Panel Chair Paul Grant commented:

“The Panel is satisfied that a finding of current impairment of fitness to practise is required in the wider public interest as fair minded and fully informed members of the public would be dismayed at the prospect of an occupational therapist in the present position of Mrs Clark being permitted to return to unrestricted practice.”

The Panel ordered for the name of Kerri S Clark to be struck off the HCPC Register.

Mrs Clark was neither present nor represented at the hearing.
