Paramedic, Martin Coomber, Struck Off on Grounds of Conviction

Martin Coomber (PA15794) has been struck off the HCPC Register on the grounds of conviction whilst registered as a paramedic with the HCPC.

A panel of the HCPTS heard that Mr Coomber was convicted at North Hampshire Magistrates’ Court of three counts of making indecent photographs / pseudo-photographs of a child.

The Panel further heard that Mr Coober was sentenced to six months imprisonment, suspended for 24 months. He was also made subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order of seven years duration.

Panel Chair Polly Clarke commented:

“The Panel decided to strike Mr Coomber’s name off the register, because of the gravity of his offending, the risk he presents to others, the need to deter others, and in order to uphold and maintain proper standards of conduct.”

The Panel ordered for the name of Martin Coomber to be struck off the HCPC Register.

Mr Coomber was neither present nor represented at the hearing.
