HCPTS - Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service - Kerrie Louise Hawkins

A panel of the HCPTS heard that Mrs Hawkins was originally suspended for a period of twelve months on the grounds of conviction, caution and misconduct whilst registered as a biomedical scientist with the HCPC.

The Panel further heard that Mrs Hawkins committed a number of offences, including theft, attempted theft and fraud. She also provided a misleading picture as to the totality of her offences to the HCPC.

Panel Chair Ian Comfort commented:

“The public is entitled to rely on registrants as being persons who act with integrity. Failure to do so undermines public confidence in the profession and the regulator. Mrs Hawkins has failed to provide evidence of insight or remediation.”

The Panel ordered for the name of Kerrie Louise Hawkins to be struck off the HCPC Register.

Mrs Hawkins was neither present nor represented at the hearing.
