A panel of the HCPTS heard that Mrs Pringle failed to ensure that Prospective Adopter’s Reports were completed to the required standard and in required timescales for a number of cases.

The Panel further heard that Mrs Pringle did not explain delays in the adoption process to people involved in a number of cases. She also completed an inadequate Assessment of Adoption Support Need in the respect of Case J.

Panel Chair Maurice Cohen commented:

“The Panel found that Mrs Pringle’s misconduct was wide-ranging and persisted over a considerable period of time. Her conduct caused unnecessary distress to adoptive parents and children at a time when they were most vulnerable.”

The Panel ordered for the name of Judith G Pringle to be struck off the HCPC Register.

Mrs Pringle was neither present nor represented at the hearing.
