A panel of the HCPTS heard that Miss Morrison was originally suspended for a period of twelve months on the grounds of misconduct whilst employed by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

The Panel further heard that Miss Morrison was convicted of driving a motor vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in her breath exceeded the prescribed limit. She also attended work smelling of or under the influence of alcohol.

Panel Chair Lakshmi Ramakrishnan commented:

“The Panel had no evidence that Miss Morrison has developed insight or remediated her failings. The Panel concluded that there is an ongoing risk of repetition.”

The Panel ordered for the name of Fiona E Morrison to be struck off the HCPC Register.

Miss Morrison was neither present nor represented at the hearing.
