HCPTS - Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service - Emmanuel O Nna

A panel of the HCPTS heard that Mr Nna entered in to an agreement to provide Person A with a Supervised Research Training Programme via his company Safety Biomedical Limited and in doing so knew he could not fulfil the agreement because the site did not have the necessary facilities.

The Panel further heard that Mr Nna did not fulfil his agreement with Cranfield University to facilitate Person A’s Academic Visitor position at the University, in that he did not pay the agreed sum of £3,000.

Panel Chair Carolyn Tetlow commented:

“Mr Nna’s conduct, which included dishonesty, breached a fundamental tenet of the profession and had brought the profession in to disrepute. The Panel was of the view there remained a risk of repetition, and therefore his fitness to practice is currently impaired.”

The Panel ordered for the name of Emmanuel O Nna to be struck off the HCPC Register.

Mr Nna was present for part of the hearing and represented himself.
