A panel of the HCPTS heard that Mrs Little was originally suspended for six months on the grounds of misconduct whilst employed by Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The Panel further heard that Mrs Little’s failings included injecting a patient with the wrong radiopharmaceutical, exposing patients to unnecessary radiation and demonstrating unsafe clinical practice.

Panel Chair Maurice Cohen commented:

“Mrs Little has shown a persistent lack of insight, and her failure to address her misconduct in accordance with the guidance given by previous panels indicated that she is unable or unwilling to resolve matters.”

The Panel ordered for the name of Jane M Little to be struck off the HCPC Register.

Mrs Little was neither present nor represented at the hearing.
