A panel of the HCPTS heard that Mr Lodda was originally suspended for twelve months on the grounds of misconduct whilst employed with Ealing Council.

The Panel further hear that Mr Lodda’s failings included not passing on information relating to complex cases to his team manager before taking annual leave, not taking action on allocated cases and not completing assessments within timeframes.

Panel Chair Paul Grant commented:

“The Panel was of the view that in the absence of sufficient remediation and the absence of evidence of insight, there remains a real risk of harm to service users and the public.”

The Panel ordered for the name of David Lodda to be struck off the HCPC Register.

Mr Lodda was neither present nor represented at the hearing.
