A panel of the HCPTS heard that following a period of employment with Northhamptonshire County Council Ms Bjelic-Rados provided an employment reference to Social Work 2000 which either she or another individual had amended.

The Panel further heard that the ‘Reason for Leaving?’ section of the reference was amended, and text removed from the ‘Additional Comments’ section. The original reference stated that Ms Bjelic-Rados had ‘development needs’.

Panel Chair Claire Cheetham commented:

“The Panel concluded that the facts found proved, taken in the round, were serious. They involved the deliberate and planned deception, either by Ms Bjelic-Rados herself falsifying the document, or by knowingly allowing another person to falsify that document, in order for her to obtain employment.”

The Panel ordered for the name of Gordana Bjelic-Rados to be struck off the HCPC Register.

Ms Bjelic-Rados was neither present nor represented at the hearing.
