A panel of the HCPTS heard that Miss Grant was originally suspended for a period of 12 months on grounds of misconduct whilst employed as a social worker with the Royal Borough of Kingston.

The Panel further heard that Miss Grant’s failings included repeated use of a business Zipcar account for personal use.

Panel Chair Caroline Healy commented:

“The Registrant’s continuing lack of insight leads the Panel to the conclusion that there is a significant risk of repetition. Therefore, the taking of no further action would not be appropriate.”

The Panel ordered for the name of Bianka Grant to be struck off the HCPC Register.

Miss Grant was present at the hearing and supported by Mr Rodney Wright.
