Social Worker, Seedy Saidykhan, Struck Off Following Substantive Review

Social worker Seedy Saidykhan (SW88228) has been struck off the HCPC Register following a substantive review of a suspension order originally imposed on 2 August 2017.

HCPTS - Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service - Seedy Saidykhan

A panel of the HCPTS heard that Mr Saidykhan was originally suspended on grounds of misconduct and/or lack of competence for fitness to practice whilst employed as a social worker with Buckinghamshire County Council.

The Panel further heard that Mr Saidykhan’s failings included not conducting a review of Client A’s capacity to make a decision about respite care, and not allowing Client C’s parents to support Client C at a Mental Capacity Assessment meeting.

Panel Chair Caroline Healy commented:

“The absence of insight and remedial action resulted in the Panel finding a risk of repetition of misconduct. Were the Registrant to repeat such behaviour, service users would be put at risk of harm.”

The Panel ordered for the name of Mr Saidykhan to be struck off the HCPC Register.

Mr Saidykhan was nether present nor represented at the hearing.
