Radiographer Suspended for Misconduct and Dishonesty after Providing Inaccurate Information to Her Employer

Radiographer Julie A Taylor has been suspended from the HCPC Register for one year on grounds of misconduct and dishonesty after providing inaccurate information to her employer regarding her absence from work, whilst employed by Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospital Foundation NHS Foundation Trust.

A panel of the HCPC Conduct and Competence Committee heard that Mrs Taylor was absent from work on 20 September, part of 23 September, from 24 to 27 September and for part of the day on 30 September 2013. In respect of these absences she gave explanations which were found to be inaccurate and dishonest. As part of an investigation undertaken by the Trust, Mrs Taylor made a number of admissions in relation to these allegations.

The Panel further heard that Mrs Taylor also submitted an image as part of her coursework for the University of Leeds which contained an unredacted patient
