Paramedic Louise Marsden has been struck off the HCPC Register on grounds of misconduct after receiving a conditional discharge for the theft of Entonox from her employer, East Midlands Ambulance Service.
A panel of the HCPC Conduct and Competence Committee heard that Ms Marsden had been seen removing Entonox gas cylinders from the store at Market Ransen Ambulance Service and taking them away in her car on three occasions. The police were alerted and a search of the boot of her car revealed three Entonox cylinders.
The Panel further heard that Ms Marsden denied the offence in her police interview but changed her plea to guilty of the day of her court appearance at Lincolnshire Magistrates
