Paramedic Struck Off Following Review of Conditions of Practice Order

Paramedic Clive Jordan has been struck off the HCPC Register following a review of a conditions of practice order in May 2014 resulting from a lack of competence whilst employed by North East Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

A panel of the HCPC Conduct and Competence Committee conducted a third review of a suspension order first imposed for 12 months in April 2013 and reviewed and replaced with a conditions of practice order on 2 May 2014. Mr Jordan was originally suspended following concerns raised about his performance during a call-out on 30 March 2010, including failing to complete a thorough and basic examination and assessment, and for lacking clear understanding and clinical reasoning.
