Medal of Achievement for Sheffield Hospitals’ Professor

A professor at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has been awarded a Medal of Achievement for his outstanding contribution to research in the field of osteoporosis.

Eugene McCloskey, Professor of Adult Bone Diseases at the Trust’s Metabolic Bone Centre was awarded the accolade by the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) at the World Congress on Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases.

The Medal of Achievement is presented annually by IOF to honour an individual researcher who has significantly advanced the field of osteoporosis through his original and outstanding scientific contributions.
